The Ferrari Amalfi: Advancing the Art of Grand Touring

The Ferrari Amalfi debuted in the summer of 2025 as the successor to the Ferrari Roma, ushering in a new perspective on the Italian automaker’s grand touring formula. The two-door coupe combines modern design, sophistication, and twin-turbocharged performance in a package that’s every bit as comfortable as it is engaging.
Named after the scenic Southern Italian coast, the Amalfi draws inspiration from a destination revered for its elegance, natural beauty, and timeless appeal. That same spirit is embodied by the Amalfi, delivering a composed grand touring experience without sacrificing the exhilarating performance expected from the Prancing Horse.
A New Expression of Ferrari Design
At first glance, the Amalfi projects controlled confidence, shaped by a sleek, monolithic speedform that unites each exterior design element to achieve a strong sense of visual continuity. Rather than relying on sharp transitions or complex surfaces, the design emphasizes clean lines, smooth contours, and a low, flowing profile that gives the Amalfi a commanding presence from every angle.

Up front, a metal-mesh grille is covertly stowed between horizontal LED headlights and a body-color or carbon-fiber splitter, creating a wide, planted appearance. Along the sides, flush-mounted door handles blend seamlessly into sculpted bodywork to preserve the Amalfi’s uninterrupted profile.
The Amalfi’s rear design is equally deliberate, featuring a full-width LED light bar and horizontal layout that visually widens the car. Dual circular exhaust tips flank each side of the rear diffuser to give the Amalfi a more assertive finish.
Where Luxury Inspires Connection
Inside, the design of the Amalfi’s dual cockpit places both driver and passenger at the center of an engaging experience. Advanced technology is complemented by carefully curated materials, such as soft leather, carbon-fiber accents, and metal hardware, resulting in a cohesive and highly refined interior cabin.
A 15.6-inch digital instrument cluster presents key vehicle information directly ahead of the driver, while a low-mounted 10.25-inch central touchscreen hosts many of the primary media and vehicle functions. An additional 8-inch passenger display blends seamlessly into the dashboard to allow the front-seat passenger to view performance metrics and assist with media and navigation control. Together, these elements ensure the experience is shared, not one-sided.

The Ferrari Amalfi also brings physical controls back to the forefront. Key systems are managed primarily through buttons and switches located on the center console and steering wheel. Among them is the unmistakable red aluminum start/stop button, providing the tactile precision integral to an invigorating driving experience.
Power Meets Precision
The Amalfi’s performance credentials begin under the hood, where a 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 produces 631 horsepower. Power is delivered through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, propelling the rear-wheel-drive coupe from 0-62 mph in 3.3 seconds.
Formidable performance is matched by equally advanced control and precision. The Amalfi is equipped with Ferrari’s brake-by-wire system integrated with the ABS Evo anti-lock braking controller. Together, these advanced systems translate brake-pedal input into precisely measured pressure at each wheel, delivering instantaneous response and impressive stopping power across a range of surfaces and conditions.
At the tail of the Amalfi, a mobile rear wing adds an element of aerodynamic adaptability. Responding to real-time data on speed, acceleration, and lateral force, the rear wing automatically deploys and assumes one of three positions – Low Drag (LD), Medium Downforce (MD), and High Downforce (HD) – continuously adjusting to achieve the optimal balance between maximum speed and complete control.

Built for Every Pace
Perhaps the Amalfi’s most compelling trait is the breadth of experiences it can deliver from behind the wheel. At an easy pace, it settles naturally into the role of a refined grand tourer. Push further, and its performance capabilities are always prepared to answer when called upon.
That ability to shift character so naturally is central to the Amalfi’s appeal. Composed cruiser at one moment, serious performer the next.
